Georgia Campbel

Youth Panelist

Georgia is a Métis youth with roots in the historic Red River Settlement, who grew up in Thunder Bay, ON, and a third-year Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering student at McMaster University. She is currently the co-chair of the Indigenous Health Movement at McMaster University and previously served as a Conference Coordinator for the organization. Georgia also volunteers with the Physical Activity Center of Excellence and serves as an executive member of McMaster’s American Indian Science and Engineering Society Chapter. She recently completed a  Biomedical Engineering Co-op at Victoria Hand Project, a non-profit organization that aims to provide prosthetic limbs for individuals at low-cost. She also is currently a teaching assistant for the course "Entrepreneurship in Biomedical Innovation: Bench to Market," where she leads tutorials and helps students understand the broader impacts of diseases. Balancing her academic and professional pursuits, Georgia remains deeply committed to community service and leadership.
